Layden's Special Letter

It was beautiful moment when I realized a small note I wrote to Layden meant so much to him. He told me he reads this note every night when he goes to bed because it's reminds him how much he is loved and I will always hold and comforts him in times of need.

It's the small things in life that matter.

I wrote this note after an unexpected procedure he had a couple months back.

I think I need to edit the note. ;0) I'll just write him another one.

The Healing Power of Horses

I started riding when I was a little girl, a little older then Athena(8) is now. But it wasn't until I became an adult that I realized horses reciprocate our love. Actually it wasn't until I meant Wendy's horses. Her horse were gentle and affectionate with all of us. It allowed us to give even more back as we became more and more comfortable around them.

Athena on Mira
Layden on Sugar
Sugar was very protective of Layden. Constantly showing the other horses he didn't like when they would get close to his rider. It was great to see his caring spirit.
Sugar and Layden are absolutely perfect together.

You don't see this very enough. Mira is very gentle.

I can't help but to smile. It's incredible.

Boys will boys

These two are so funny.

16 years together and still deeply in love.... New Port

Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.

For me it's start with a beer and soccer game at the airport, I'm not drinking or watching. But my love is. And his happiness is everything to me.

For the next couple hours I was fixated on the clouds. Beauty for the sky.

Lake Powell

Grand Canyons

Day 1. After getting unpack Chris and I took a 2.5 mile walk to the beach. It felt great after a day of traveling.

We had dinner at The Crab Cooker. And it was one of the moments that the food tasted unreal. We way over eat.

The kids got letter from the local sea animals

Eat so much Chris can't even open his eyes.

Day 2 was an early morning 7 am. We started the day walking to the beach for an early morning walk and some breakfast. Found ourselves walking for miles on the beach.

It had been a couple years which made the beach sounds very therapeutic.

Seaweed.

Came across this tree, it reminded me of Australia.

By 11am we ready to eat. Sat down at a great street taco restaurant and had the best tacos every.

I plan was to go back to the house and take a nap. Although on the walk back Chris and I came across a festival. Why not. another adventure. Chris thought it would be fun to see who could drink their beer faster ... me or him.

So far Chris is faster...

My second drink.
