Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values.

Figgy our Elf on the Shelve is back and he brought a long a pet, I very cute St. Bernard. Like ever year on December 1 (or at least the last 3 years) dad reads a Christmas story at breakfast. This year Elf Pets: A Saint Bernard Tradition

We were all excited to see Figgy and his pets but unfortunately Layden was sick and he had to go in for an infusion today.
Poor little guy it just doesn't get an easier.

Day 2
We think Rila isn't the biggest of the new puppy.
We started a new treatment plan for Layden... fingers crossed it helps
He looks so damn cute.
Layden found Figgy with some tea, we both thought he wanted Layden to start feeling better again. And look at Rila her ears or back.

Figgy is not only good at making Layden smile when He is sick but he is also good at helping me remember the 25 days of candy count down.
Day 3: First day of Competition Center.
Layden isn't feeling well enough to go so today it will be just Ryleigh and Issiah.

Bentley at is 1 year check up. Will it's really 1 year and 3 months. He hates small rooms.
Day 8
Layden is sick again. Figgy and his friend are wanting to play in the snow.
I thought maybe I could make Layden feel better by giving him a big slice of chocolate cake.
Figgy loves to move around when Layden is home.
Day 9
First weekend in the mountain house. There is so much snow. Yay. Fun weekend to ski.

Went skiing today and my feet seems to have an injury so I ended up drinking instead of skiing
Chuck and Sharyl came up to look for a mountain house. So why not have dinner with them.
Day 11
While we are heading home from the mountains and I guess Figgy didn't want to get left behind.
Day 12
Family Movie Night. Figgy wants us to watch the Elf. Yay!!
Day 13
Figgy brought the kids ornaments for Christmas.
He also made ginger bread houses for the boys to decorate.
I thought it would be fun to make our ski poles fun with Star Wars duck tape
Day 14
It's about this time when Christmas is almost here and the boys birthdays are even sooner that I have to start really making them feel special and keep the Christmas spirit.

Day 15 Happy 13th Birthday Ryleigh
Happy 13th Birthday to the most wonderful son a mother could ask for. Ryleigh you make me smile every day, I'm so proud of you. Lets shredded it on the mountain today.

First run of the day Issiah breaks his binding and I'm out of skiing so Issiah can use my skis. Bummer.

Asa Layden's BF is doing great.
I messed up big time. I asked Ryleigh to go over what I thought was a jump and it was a grinder. The grinder grabbed his skiing, slowing his skis down and sending him face first into the mountain. Ryleigh got a concession.

Well because of Ryleigh's concession we had to cancel his Birthday dinner. poor dude.

Day 18 through 20 At the Great Wolf Lodge

The kids had no idea we were going to the Great Wolf Lodge and non of us really know what it was all about.
Chris got the kids the Wolf pack so they could do everything!!!
Starting with getting set up on the Magic quest game and getting their wands.

More movie. Remember that Ryleigh got hurt on his Ryleigh so he wasn't able to go to Dinner and a movie for his birthday. Today we are seeing War Stars Rogue One for Ryleigh Birthday.

Day 24 Christmas Eve
Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!
