Bentley Guarding the Tree

Bentley has such a great personality, I swear he has a sense of humor. To get Ryleigh's attention he decide no one could come near his presents under the tree. Well he definitely got our attention. For the next 20 minutes we played try to get to the tree.

Layden's Follow Up ENT Appointment

Finally, the day is here for Layden's follow-up appointment after his Tonsillectomy and Adenoidtomy Surgical Procedure. It's been almost 4 weeks of lots of pain and bleeding. The day of the follow up Layden feels great, better than great he is full of cheeky personality. 

Everything looks great, and we have a hopeful treatment plan. 

OMG. Look at this cheeky Monkey. 

That evening the family celebrated at Rock Bottom. We love to see Layden healthy and happy. 

Christmas Decorating 2016

OUR PRE-CHRISTMAS TRADITION

One of my favorite holiday traditions is ornament decorating, family board games, and of course baking, all while decorating the house.. Every trip we take and really, everywhere we go, we look for ornaments to buy that represent where we've been (really I just like the ornament that feel like Christmas such as mountain things). To me, ornaments symbolize our family adventures, our likes and our growing family. Every year the kids get new ornaments to add to our tree. 

Every year since we Chris and I started dating, we've done an ornament exchange. We find time to play a game a chess, where I win every game while enjoying my favorite sweets - cupcakes, chocolate, and pie for Chris and Ryleigh...you get the picture. And as I sit here staring at our tree full or ornaments, they bring back memories. So many memories.

But no matter the year, we always get each other an ornament and we choose one together for each of our babies.

Our ornament collection has grown and will continue to grow and as we decorate the tree each year, it's such a fun reminder of all of the great adventures, stories and memories we've had together. And they'll always be a fun reminder each and every year.

Issiah is getting Bracing

I thought I would take Issiah for a big breakfast and a coffee before his braces hurt and he can't eat.

Still Healing

Layden is still home healing after his surgery, all I could do is convince him to take a short drive to try and cheer him up. On our drive ...this is what was in the rear window of this persons car. creepy!

He's Getting so Big

Sometimes I notice the big stuff during the small things. Like a denist appointment with Ryleigh... look how big he is getting. He's man size. 

And sometimes I have to take a picture just to be an asshole.
