Bentley our Service Dog

This was a magical moment for Layden and I.

Here's the story. Layden has to get 3 shots and he has a needle phobia. Typically this means to hold him down which he panics. It's terrible. He stresses out, I stress out. It's a very bad experience.

Layden, couldn't sleep the night before. The next morning Layden had an idea to bring Bentley with him. I said yes, but my stress levels were out of control. Thinking about holding Layden down while he screams and cries, and my dog watches. What if he got aggressive?

I asked the nurse not to talk to Layden and let me handle him but he couldn't help him self. It was not helpful at all.

Bentley, knew actually what to do. He laid down next to Layden. Layden laid on Bentley and the rest was history. Layden was perfect. it was fast and no issue. I'm so proud of you both.
