So I guess I should start with whats HHT is.
Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), also known as Osler-Weber-Rendu disease, is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder (yup, it came from me) that leads to abnormal blood vessel formation in the skin, mucous membrances, and often in organs such as the lungs, heart, and brains (which could be life threatening).
It may lead to nosebleeds (which Layden has often, although it comes out his mouth), acute and chronic digestive tract bleeding, and various problems due to the involvement of the organs. The true is we don't know where the bleeding is coming from and if there is more bleeding in his body we don't know about.
