Dear Ryleigh and Issiah,
I owe you two an apology.
If you are reading this as an adult, I want to remind you of your dreams to become a professional Tennis player. Most likely, it has nothing to do with your athletic ability. It has to do with your hustle and giving it your all each time you put on your uniform or show up at practice. You both are dedicated, and a hard workers. Never stop short.
Dad and I will give you every chance to make this dream come true.
Youth sports have become a big deal. A really big deal actually. Between the last time you put on a uniform, and the next time you put one on, things will have changed. You will have to practice longer and harder, and still be at a disadvantage. We really have to put in the work and it will not be enough. But please never give up, this is where the 1% stand strong. When the going gets hard you get strong and work hard then everyone else.
You both need 3 pairs of shoes a season and it's not enough.
