Mother's day started a day early. Saturday afternoon Chris surprised me with a new camera. This was a very big deal. I left my camera at the airport *over 2 years ago) and I have been lost without it. I love taking pictures of my boys and having digital memories.
Oh ya, I also get lessons which I needed, badly!! I have no ideal how to take a great photo or work this camera. And it's a point and shoot.
The boys spent the night at nana's house, so when they came home on Mother's Day morning they were so excited to start the day. Layden couldn't wait to give me a Mother's Day gift he made at school. Layden you are the sweetest.
He made a book cover so we can write a book together, wrote me a letter, and painted a rock for me.
Layden, mommy loves you so so much. Thank you for all your thoughtful gifts.

Lunch on the lake.
Chris planned a beautiful Mother's Day, lunch on the lake, walk around the lake, and fishing. Due to the weather we couldn't walk the lake or go fishing, but it was an amazing day anyways. I'm so thankful to my love who is so thoughtful.
