Well, the testing is starting for HHT. Today Layden will have 2 test, one to see if he has AVM in his lungs and the other test to see if he has AVM in his heart. They are looking for abnormal blood vessel formation in the skin, mucous membranes and in organs such as the lungs, liver, heart, and brain.
Currently we are seeing telangiectasia which are small vascular malformation (Blood spots) on Layden hands, face, and month. And He is coughing up blood or will have bad nosebleeds.
Layden will have to under go these treatment every 6 months if they find AVM in the heart or lung. If they don't find any he will under go the treats every year.
